Lol I think that's pretty accurate ^^ I wanna major in philo/literature/theater (not acting though!)

LAst exam: Biology. It hurt my hand! We had to answer 3 chapters worth of questions and write a shitload of stuff. And for English we had a commentary and an essay, bot of which i suck at. I really am bad at english.

Speaking of English, have a paper to rewrite XD
and I have a research commission for Theater Arts, and a re-write for philosophy, and another essay.
Total=4 essays over the break. Perfect. And I only get less than 2 weeks at home =/

Today I went to bryant park and union square. Puro tiangge and my mom gave me money so it made me happy (but as I have learned in Philosophy, it is a false happyness that only detters us from the real good)
And then this dude (totally random punk guy) goes to me and says: "you're missing Jesus".(random NY ppl shout at other random ppl kasi theyr hostile XD)
Natawa naman ako! At first, I thought, why did he just fly by or something? I told my friends, zoe and yarz abotu it (they were a few feet ahead of me) and they were like, "omg ur the most Christian of all of us! go back there and tell that dude u wanna be a nun"! I was about to flash my crucifix/scapular at him, but I wasnt wearing one. I wanted to though XD
This event, reminded me of yet another of my NY freaky experiences.
Dati kasi I was in times square with Yarz coming home from Jersey (the closer u get to times square, the mroe hostile) and it was crowded and then i cut in front of someone pero almost bump into this other guy and this dude HISSES AT ME XD and im like, "fuck you asshole!"

And yet another incidend (still in tiems square)involved another hostile Newyorker. It was with my mom, near toysRus.
This dude was like, go home tourists, new york sucks, so why bother coming here and making it suckier for real newyorkers!
and there are random homeless people, who arent at all like our homeless people who u pity and actually feel sympathy towards.
These newyork homeless ppl are HOSTILE XD and one even threw breadcrumbz at zoe once,! And the pidgeons could have killed her
And so many people stare at other ppl, shamelessly. As in O_O walang hiyang staring, kakaasar!
Which led to the discussion of me and my dad about consumerism:
Dad: baka talagang the pursuit of self-interested consumerism kills your soul
Dad: yan ang dapat nilang matutunan
Leal: sabi ko sau eh, mindless consumerism
Leal: Pero its funny rin kasi so many ppl are radical here, and anti-bush, pro-peace
Leal: pero peace to each other is not an option
Dad: America= Consumerism
Dad: they love humanity but not each other
Leal: indeed
But not all Americans suck. My friends here are pretty cool. They've been americanized but they are still caring, despite what the culture promotes.
And about teh mindless consumerism, it's because America does not have to deal with poverty as much as other countries. They are bored, hence they shop (its something to do!) and play videogames. Lol.
Speaking of which, I want a nintendo Wii, but its 600$ (30kphp) so scrw that shit!
I'd rather bask in the sun with my brother and teach him to fetch ;)
